News

Continental Airlines (CO) now known to be the airline that cancelled an order for a 777 in August 2010. CO has no more 777s on order and will merge with United Airlines (UA) shortly [3Sep10]

Turkmenistan Airlines (T5) takes delivery of their only 777 on order, EZ-A777. The aircraft will most likely only be used as a VIP aircraft and is not expected to be in regular service [31Aug10]

Merger approved by DOJ between United Airlines (UA) and Continental Airlines (CO) [27Aug10]

One more 777 cancelled; not known yet which airline or model. [24Aug10]

Etiophian Airlines (ET) will start 777 service ADD-FCO-IAD-ADD 15Dec10 [6Aug10]

Dubai Aerospace Entreprise cancels order for 10 777s [6Aug10]

Emirates (EK) has ordered 30 777-300/ER and 18 of them where listed as unidentified order [23Jul10]

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SV) has ordered 12 777-300/ER. Previously listed as unidentified order [23Jul10]

Air Austral (UU) has ordered two 777-200/LR. Previously listed as unidentified order [23Jul10]

Qatar Airways (QR) has converted two 777-2DZ/LR in to firm order. Previously listed as unidentified order. [23Jul10]

Japan Airlines (JL) cancels order for 7 777-300/ER [2Jul10]

EVA Air (BR) still has two 777-35E/ER stored at PAE awaiting seats. Aircraft were delivered in Dec09 but not yet in service [20Jun10]

Transearo (UN) to purchase 4 777-212/ER from Singapore Airlines and to lease one 777-222/ER (ex-AI) [20Jun10]

Two orders for 2 777-200/LR each in May10; one order from 11May and one order from 25May.[3Jun10]

Royal Brunei Airlines (BI) takes delivery of first of 6 leased 777-212/ER from Singapore Airlines (SQ). [2Jun10]

New unidentified order for 18 777-300/ER from 30Apr10. [8May10]

United Airlines (UA) and Continental Airlines (CO) to merger to form the world's largest airline. The name of the new carrier will be United Airlines and the livery will be Continental's current livery. [3May10]
